The story begins on the day of Titli���s (Joyeeta) marriage, who is engaged to Gunjan (Dhrubojyoti), the son of a wealthy man. Titli���s father Hiranmoy has squandered his father���s money and gone bankrupt.

He hopes that after Titli gets married to Gunjan, his father will make him a partner in his business.
