Apr 29, 2007. Rinoceronti.jpg image: Flesh Eating Beagle. There's a new economic theory around. It's about the rules of the race. It's the economy compared to horse racing. Eleonora Allevi, 19 years, Alex Luciani, 16 years, Danilo Traini 17 years and Davide Corradetti, 16 years, died yesterday on a road in Italy.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration named an asteroid after him in 2002, '111561 Giovanniallevi 2002 Ah3'. For someone who admits to being media-shy, he comes across as bubbly and is effusive in describing his love of music and for his fans. He enjoys interacting with them, whether through social media or by meeting them after his concerts. 'Meeting them is very important to me.
I can recognise myself in their eyes and I don't feel so alone,' he says. In Japan, however, some fans have taken that interaction to a new level. They come up to touch his hair, a shock of black curls. With Allevi, his wild hair is not so much about maintaining an image than it is about being in touch with his younger self. Between the ages of five and 10, he sported these locks and used to play the piano in secret at home. His parents, both musicians, kept the piano locked as they did not want him to pursue a difficult career path. Allevi found the key.
He says: 'I started to play furtively. Even today, when I play the piano, I feel a mix of fear and desire, like when I was a child. 'As a child, I understood that music would be my life.'
His father found out about his piano playing and took him to the music conservatory to be trained. He has two siblings who are not musicians. He is married, but declines to speak about his partner. He is close to his sister, who is four years older than him and a philosophy teacher. Allevi himself has a degree in philosophy. Perhaps that is why he looks beyond accomplishments and popularity. He calls being famous 'unnatural'.
When asked what the highlight of his career has been, he does not talk about album sales, concerts or even the asteroid. His response is aptly poetic: Bugsy Malone Karaoke Free Download there. 'To enter the heart of the listener is the most important and most difficult accomplishment for me.'
The Cultural Association MADEinMAARC needs your committed support to restore the former glory of Casa del Fascio in Como. Your timely support will help us revitalize this cultural icon as a point of reference for the European architectural and artistic culture. Casa del Fascio has been a continuous subject of innumerable research studies in art and architecture by the most prestigious academies in the world, as it is a fine example and a symbol of rational architecture for the European architectural and art communities and critics. Casa del Fascio in Como, designed by Giuseppe Terragni (rationalist architect and thinker), was officially inaugurated in 1936. It is located next to another important rationalistic building, the former Unione Lavoratori Industria(U.L.I.), designed by Cesare Cattaneo and Pietro Lingeri in 1940.These two buildings are among the most emblematic examples of modern architecture and are considered as landmarks of the Italian and European rationalist architecture. Both buildings form a part of the heritage linked to Twenties-Forties of Italian modern architectural and artistic movement with several notable examples spread across Como and Lombard areas.
The exceptional qualitative and quantitative outcomes of such heritage have made Como one among the key destinations to visit and understanding the modern art and architecture of the early 20th Century. It is no surprise that the City of Como has a deeply celebrated tradition and vocation for art and architecture that bears a diverse tenacity of knowledge, ranging from middle age masters called “Magistri Comancini” to Neoclassicism, Antonio Sant’Elia and Giuseppe Terragni. Since the Fifties, both buildings are the Headquarters of the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Finance Police) and the A.S.L. (Local Health Authority) with limited public access to these architectural jewels.
Unfortunately, this rich heritage with its corporeal knowledge needs acknowledgement and access to public for them to learn and understand these icons of rational architecture along with their preserved original archives of protagonists of Como’s abstractionism art and the Rationalist architecture. We believe that it is time to transform these two buildings, starting with the “Casa del Fascio”, into a comprehensive modern cultural centre and a seat of rationalism and abstractionism art museum. It is important to note that these two prominent buildings will prove to be the beacons for the national and international communities promoting tourism and exchange of knowledge. Many prominent cities are already focusing on developing similar multifunctional cultural museum and centres, to assert the identity of their architectural and artistic vocation and heritage, and also aiming to develop new economies in their cities. It is important to identify national and foreign institutions and foundations that are interested in financially supporting our endeavour.
The proposal for this new Museum and Cultural Center is also to offer a relevant program to connect and integrate the cultural organizations of Lombardy with Europe through Swiss Canton Ticino. These rich and shared cultural crossroads of Northern and Southern Europa, in presence of such great works of 20th Century rational architecture, would add significant value and prestige to this territory in which are already located relevant institutions like Milan Polytechnic, Brera Academy, and also to the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture. The Cultural Association MADEinMAARC fully intends to operate and collaborate with other cultural institutions and entities that share similar goals. Free Movies Download Ps3. The Association wishes to seek a process of inclusive community support including the interested Italian institutions to execute this project. We will remain focused in strengthening our vision and the process of development using constructive public opinion to keep in motion the credibility and significance of this project for the City of Como and Lombardy and for Italy. We request your pledge of support who agree with our objectives to realize this important project.
